Necessity

It's weird...being human.

Desperately driven to find a connection...preferably connections, plural. In this case I refer to an emotional connection. Re-enforcing this inherent drive, something happens when we stay alone too often, (for one we get weird, almost without exception) loneliness will kick in...and it is powerful.

Is it an evolutionary trait that has been arrived at due to it's success? This is certainly possible, as grouping up with other humans would be an unquestionable advantage. It would also allow for overall growth of the species at a significantly faster pace.

One wonders.
Can happiness be found with little to no connections?
Perhaps one does not have that option...
